Our Service Of Care

Ty Parc has been registered with Care Inspectorate Wales since 5th August 2021. 
Our 12 bedroom home is comfortable, inviting, and maintained to the highest standards. Bedrooms are equipped with specialist equipment to meet the needs of each person. All bedrooms are large and have an ensuite toilet and showers. The accommodation surpasses RISCA regulations and requirements.

People we Support

Ty Parc is registered to accommodate people aged 18 years and older with a learning disability, a physical disability and Mental Health.

We currently support 12 individuals with a variety of care & support needs. We have created a community within the home the sees residents with complex care needs living happily alongside people requiring less support.

Residents are supported to access health and social services as needed. People are supported to follow the advice given by professionals, which includes taking medication.

People have excellent outcomes due to the high-quality care and support they receive. The service places exceptionally high value on their initial meetings and conversations with people to build strong relationships with them as equals.

Our residents experience excellent wellbeing due to the service wide focus on are supported to have as much independence and control over their lives as possible. The quality of care and support provided at the home is excellent. 

Commissioning Contracts

Our current contracting partners are:

  • Caerphilly County Borough Council
  • Newport County Council
  • NHS Local Health Boards

We offer long-term, short-term, respite and emergency placements.

People are supported to have experiences and opportunities which improve their wellbeing. People and the outcomes they want to achieve are central to all areas of service delivery. Care and support is provided to people when they need it. How care and support is provided can be flexible and can change as the persons needs and skills alter. People are supported to access health and social services as needed.

People live in a service which is safe, comfortable and meets their needs. The layout of the home is enabling and promotes independence. People’s bedrooms are personalised to their own interests and tastes and are respected as their personal space.

Support staff ensure people are safe and are protected from abuse. All support staff are trained in safeguarding people and are aware of their responsibilities for raising concerns.
